For over 20 years Trinity have been adapting homes for older people and those with disabilities. We carry out over 300 bathroom adaptations each year, mostly converting bathrooms to level access showers. Other adaptations we carry out include kitchens, ramps and home extensions. Most of our work is for local authorities and home improvement agencies funded directly or through DFG grants. We have our own in house designer and are therefore able to carry out all aspects of an adaptation project from initial design to project completion and are also able to take on the role of Principal Contractor under CDM (15)
Trinity is in a unique position to carry out larger scale ‘accessible’ building projects reconfiguring homes and building extensions to meet the needs of wheelchair users, using the expertise of our 2 divisions. We have carried out projects for independent Occupational Therapists and specialist Solicitors as well as local authorities and are always happy to provide advice and tender for new projects in this area. We are also able to provide a ‘Design and build’ service as we have our own Architect who has specialist knowledge of disability adaptations.
