Special Works

Trinity’s Special Works Division delivers a range of smaller, highly specialised building projects, generally within the £1 - £25k value range.

The division has grown steadily by developing teams of project managers and multi-skilled tradesmen who can undertake and complete projects with the minimum of disruption to our clients. Our teams install wetrooms and walk-in showers, bathrooms and kitchens for elderly or infirm clients or those with special needs. Disability adaptations and general DDA work, such as stair lifts, ramps and rails form an increasingly important part of the portfolio. Our client base includes Local Authorities, Housing Associations, PCTs, schools and colleges, sports clubs and many private clients who wish to enjoy an independent lifestyle.

Aids and Adaptations

We work closely with Occupational Therapists, Local Authorities, Housing Associations – and the client who will use the facility – to ensure that the finished product meets the budgetary and practical needs of each. The work includes level-access and graded floors and wide  openings for wheel chair access. Our experienced project managers and multi-skilled operatives offer the iideal combination for the client and for the responsible authority.

DDA Work

A rapidly growing part of our Special Works provision, DDA projects are managed by the same multi-skilled teams. We install a range of ramps, rails and lifts and a number of other requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. Our clients include private sports and members clubs and schools and colleges in addition to Local Authority, NHS, PCT and Housing Association partners.

Easy Access

We understand the importance of ease of access to buildings, rooms and fittings and will adapt these areas to make their use simpler and safer for our many disabled, infirm or elderly clients. We regularly incorporate extra-wide doors, single-level access and other such features in our specifications.

Sanctuary  Rooms

Trinity offers a confidential service, creating sanctuary or safe rooms for clients affected by difficult domestic circumstances

Insurance Services

Our telephone call-out service handles insurance claims and our surveyors undertake site visits prior to preparing appropriate reports and surveys. We work closely with selected Insurance companies and Loss Adjusters in our local region.

Vic Agombar, Director - Special Works, manages this division and his team of project managers and skilled tradesman provide a very personal service and high levels of satisfaction to their clients.
