Project: Office Refurbishment on four floors of a modern office block.

Brief: Refurbishment works comprising the demolition and modification of existing partitioning and suspended ceiling systems, new accessible reception counter, new partitioning works, carpeting, decorations, new suspended ceiling, upgrading mechanical and electrical installations.
Key Issues:
This was an extremely tight programme with phasing of works on each floor. The scheme was run in conjunction with Enfield Council’s office relocation programme. This meant that we needed to start and complete various floors within seven days to enable the Client to take occupation.
At all times we had to ensure that the building was fully operational and ensure that deliveries did not affect access into the building.
Outcome:
All the pre-agreed dates were met and the Client was able to take occupation of the various floors as agreed. Enfield Council was delighted at the outcome and we are currently tendering for further works with the Architects department.
