Brief:
The refurbishment of the various light industrial units detailed above was negotiated with Brixton Plc over an 18 month period. The requirement was to strip out and refurbish internally and to overhaul the roof and cladding.
Key Issues:
After an initial visit with the Contract Administrator, a scope of works was agreed, which was then priced and a programme prepared. Speed was critical to allow the early leasing of the upgraded units.
The works typically involved the complete strip out of the previous tenants' plant, materials and fixtures and fittings, and an upgrade of the plumbing and electrics.
The main roof and the cladding panels were repaired or replaced.
Office areas were refurbished and brought up to date and toilets and washrooms refitted and generally upgraded.
The Result:
All schemes were successfully completed on time and within budget. We continue to work with Brixton plc on new projects.
