A complete refurbishment of an existing mixed use large mews property into 4 high quality contemporary 1-2 bedroom flats and 1 private garage.

This was a very restricted site with strict planning approval, limited vehicular access and numerous adjoining building owners, including a recently refurbished hotel.

The Architect’s specification called for a modern design, including a hardwood staircase with glazed stainless steel balustrade, a Cathedral roof with electrically operated Velux roof windows and high quality kitchens and bathrooms.

The project involved major structural works, including mini-piles, due to poor ground conditions and extensive brickwork repairs due to the existing defective structure.

4 individual flats with modern services and contemporary finishes in an existing Victorian building in a local conservation area.
