High quality refurbishment and conversion of a grade II listed property. Demolition and new extension to rear, with extensive repairs and alterations to the remainder of the building to create modern commercial offices and residential accommodation.
Key Issues:
The building was in a particularly poor state of repair. As a consequence of the re-building of the front façade, this has led to further issues with the adjoining party wall.
Installation of extensive temporary propping to support the existing structure, which has then restricted access throughout the site.
Outcome:
Working closely with the Architect, Structural Engineer, the Conservation Officer and English Heritage, we are now starting to repair the building to bring it back to its original condition.
